Cultivate a healthy lifestyle through my in person custom made sessions based on healing practices from my Indian heritage. As I am travelling the world we can meet either on line or in person in the location where I am currently (Bangkok until end of March 2025) invited as a visiting yoga teacher. It's never too late to start.

Ashtanga Yoga

The first series of Ashtanga is called Yoga Chikitsa, which in Sanskrit means “treatment” or “cure” by yoga.

It is the sequence that helps the physical body and rids the body of all imbalances, eliminating toxins and accumulated tensions. As described in yoga philosophy, you must understand your physical body first before diving inwards.

If practiced consistently with dedication it becomes a body & mind therapy and will give you the following benefits:

Embark on a 6 session course in which you will gradually build up a daily personalised practice which you will take with you wherever you are.

Pranayama- Authentic Indian Breathwork

Are you looking for simple ways to calm your mind, heal from trauma’s and work on overall health?

Ancient Indians were very genius saints who were aware of the power of the breath. They have come up with the scientific way of controlling breath called Pranayama. Prana means Breath and Yama means control. 

Pranayama if practiced regularly under supervision of an experienced teacher can have many benefits:

 

  • decreases stress

  • improves sleep quality

  • increases concentration

  • increases the lung capacity

  • reduces high blood pressure

  • reduces anxiety

  • detoxifies the system 

  • can help with fighting depression, ptsd among others

​Learn how to develop a personal pranayama breathwork sequence that you can implement in your life. A minimum of 4 sessions is required to be able to individually practice.

Basic Sanskrit - Asana pronunciation & chanting:

In Mysore Style Ashtanga students should know the Sanskrit asana names. 

Not only does it help with communicating with your teacher and using minimal language. It is also out of respect for the yoga tradition being born in India. 

We also chant mantra's and sloka's for correct pronunciation it is advisable to learn basic Sanskrit. Many Western international teachers are not able to correctly pronounce. I have Indian roots, spoke fluent Bhojpuri, an Indian dialect close to Hindi, until I was 4 and learned how to read and write in Devnagri, the Hindi/Sanskrit scripture from my grand dad. For 11 years I founded and ran a language institute. I know a total of 8 languages and have developed many language curricula.

Learn the basics of Sanskrit, how to pronounce the Ashtanga asana names, mantra's and your gateway to the sutra's and chanting.

We will assess how many sessions will be required for your journey.

Ayurvedic Head Massage Course 

Ayurveda is the oldest holistic medicinal science and even modern day medicine as well as Chinese medicine is based on Ayurveda.

In India Ayurvedic massage therapies are part of a complete treatment a medical doctor may prescribe. 

With the Siro Abbhyanga we pour large amounts of oils on your head and massage the scalp, neck, shoulders and upper back to the waist. Your hair gets a natural mask. 

 

Benefits include, but are not limited to:

  • Relief of headache and migraine

  • Relief of depression and anxiety

  • Relaxes the central nervous system

  • Improves sleep and helps against insomnia

In a 3 hour workshop I teach you how to give your partner a head massage. This workshop can only be done in pairs. Your investment is €240.
